What is countdown timer?
Pick a target date and time, and the timer counts down to it in real time. Useful for upcoming launches, vacations, deadlines, weddings, releases, exams, or just finding out how many days until Friday.
The countdown updates once per second and is accurate to the second as long as the page is open. Closing the tab stops the countdown, but the next time you open it, it picks up where it left off (using your local time).
How to use it

Set a target date and time
Defaults to 7 days from now — adjust freely.

Start the timer
Press Start; the display updates every second.

Pause or reset
Use the controls to pause or pick a new target.

Set the target to January 1 at 00:00 and watch the year end.
Result: Days, hours, minutes, seconds remaining
